About feminist, felt film
IMPRINT is an international, experimental, women, trans and non-binary led film collective examining the body and processes of embodiment in documentary filmmaking.
Founded in 2020, IMPRINT established the practice of embodied documentary filmmaking, a changing, experimental approach to creative documentary filmmaking that centres somatic practices, the body, and lived experience through the lens of the body politic.
We work across both the film industry and the international arts and research communities, using the documentary medium as an act of radical and empathic resistance through communal experimentation.
We offer productions, screenings, workshops, meetups, talks and research both locally and internationally. If you want to collaborate, get in touch via email or find us on Instagram @imprint.documentaries.
IMPRINT is currently based in Scotland.
